That’s Mularkey! (In a good way); Introducing the Jags new head coach…

Here’s a little bit about the Jags new head coach:

 Mike Mularkey has 18 years of NFL coaching experience including two seasons as a head coach and eight as an offensive coordinator.  In five of the eight seasons he was a coordinator Mularkey’s team went to the playoffs. Prior to Jacksonville, his previous coaching stops were at Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Miami and Atlanta. Mularkey is the fourth head coach in Jaguars history, including Mel Tucker who served as interim head coach for the final five games of the 2011 season.

Getting to today’s press conference…first off, new owner Shahid Khan spoke to the media and addressed again what it was that he was looking for in a head coach: Khan1

That’s what Khan and Gene Smith feel like they have found in Mike Mularkey.  Now here’s your new head coach with his first comments to the media, city of Jacksonville, and fans: Mike Mularkey
